Pediatric wellness exams are routine checkups that track your child’s growth, development, and overall health at every stage. At Happy Kids Pediatrics, these visits are intentionally longer, deeply personal, and designed to support your child’s wellness beyond just illnesses. Each visit includes developmentally appropriate screenings, milestone tracking, and time to talk about anything on your mind, from nutrition and sleep to behavior and school. We take a whole-child approach grounded in evidence and compassion—because when kids feel supported early, they thrive for life.
You’ll never feel rushed during wellness visits. Longer appointments give you the space to talk openly about what’s going on, so you leave feeling heard, not hurried.
By monitoring milestones and development closely, we’re able to catch potential concerns early and put proactive support in place before they become bigger issues.
We blend traditional pediatric practices with a deeper look at things like gut health, nutrition, behavior, and lifestyle, so you get care that’s built around your child’s full picture.
We take the time to closely monitor your child’s physical growth and developmental milestones instead of rushing through a checklist. Krissy makes these assessments fun and engaging for your child while giving parents clear guidance and reassurance at every stage.
Nutrition is a core part of our wellness approach. We dive into your child’s gut health, dietary habits, and overall nourishment to support immune strength, mental wellness, and long-term vitality. Think of it as pediatric care with a side of food-as-medicine.
Each visit includes a customized plan based on your child’s age, health goals, and lifestyle. From addressing chronic issues like allergies or creating a simple routine for better sleep, we’re here to create something that actually works for your family.
We believe informed parents make empowered decisions. Every wellness visit includes space to ask questions, talk through concerns, and make decisions that align with your family’s values. Krissy meets you where you are and supports you every step of the way.
When it makes sense, we recommend targeted screenings to get ahead of issues before they start. Whether it’s a basic hearing check or deeper functional lab work, we use testing to inform—not overwhelm.
Mental wellness matters, especially for growing kids. We check in on social-emotional development, stress, sleep, and behavior patterns. We’re here to help your child manage big feelings or navigate school struggles, offering strategies rooted in developmental insight and empathy.
When you arrive, you’ll be met with a calm, colorful space and a warm greeting from Krissy herself, not a front desk or crowded waiting room. Your child will be the only one there, and your visit starts right on time.
We’ll complete a head-to-toe assessment, including vitals and growth measurements. If needed, we’ll provide any required school or daycare forms during the same visit, so you don’t have to schedule any extra appointments.
We spend time talking through any questions, issues, or goals you have. That can include anything from feeding and sleep to behavior, school, or family stressors. Nothing is too small, and no concern is brushed aside.
You’ll leave with a tailored wellness plan that reflects your child’s unique needs and your parenting style. And as a member, you can always text or message Krissy directly with follow-up questions.
Whether you’re looking for ongoing support for your child or just need an occasional visit, we offer flexible pricing options to fit your family’s needs. Our membership plans include unlimited visits, direct access to your provider, and transparent prices. There are zero commitments—you can cancel at any time. We also offer a fee-for-service model for those who prefer to pay per visit.

We follow the schedule recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics: frequent visits during the first year (newborn, 1 week, 1 month, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months), then regular visits at 12, 15, 18, 24, and 30 months, and annual visits after age 3.
Not a problem. We offer fee-for-service visits for families who prefer flexibility. You’ll get the same level of care, and you can always switch to a membership later if you’d like.
Vaccines aren’t included in membership pricing, as costs vary widely and some families choose not to vaccinate. We’re happy to administer them and walk through your options at any visit.
