Meet Krissy Kokinda, your partner in pediatric wellness
Krissy Kokinda, DNP, CPNP-AC/PC, is a dual-certified pediatric nurse practitioner in both primary and acute care with over a decade of pediatric nursing experience. Her background spans neonatal and pediatric intensive care units, pediatric emergency departments, and developmental pediatrics. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Sacred Heart University and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Rutgers University.
Her passion for children’s health began on mission trips to Guatemala and Jamaica, where she fell in love with serving kids. Through her doctoral research on childhood obesity, Krissy developed a deep interest in the gut microbiome, nutrition, and disease prevention, which ultimately inspired her to create Happy Kids Pediatrics.
